This paper explores the transformative potential of digital
technologies in enhancing commerce education within Vikshit Bharat, a
term representing India’s underdeveloped regions. The research
synthesises existing literature and secondary data from government and
educational agencies to assess the current state of commerce education,
the challenges faced, and the opportunities presented by digital
interventions. Through this analysis, the paper identifies critical strategies
for leveraging technology to improve accessibility, pedagogy, and student
outcomes in these regions. The findings underscore the need for a holistic
approach that includes infrastructure development, capacity building, and
policy support to ensure that digital transformation can effectively bridge
the educational divide in commerce education.
