The postmodern conception of freedom, which emerges from the rejection or avoidance of axiological alignment with the life of the Church, it is far from being liberating, leading to profound imbalance. The article extends its scrutiny to the contemporary globalist ideology, which contributes to the erosion of the ontological significance of human existence by downplaying the role of religion. It is also emphasized the urge of reestablishing a plenar connection with the Church's moral framework as the antidote to the perceived moral atrophy and the unfulfilling nature of a seemingly boundless but directionless postmodern freedom.
