The concept of a new EP BiH organization with a focus on the organizational separation of distribution activities and adaptation to business on the open market of electricity. of energy is an activity of the EP BiH as part of the program for restructuring the energy power sector in FBiH, which was adopted by the Government of FBiH at the 203rd session held on 12.12. 2019, which was published in the Official Gazette No. 2 of January 10, 2020 and to which both houses of the FBiH Parliament give their consent. Reorganization of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. - Sarajevo, which took place in July 2022. The activity Supply of electricity was left without part of the support functions (law, economics, ICT, etc.). Services that were common to the Electricity Distribution Activity, the Electricity Supply Activity and the Electricity Production Activity, where the production of electricity in small hydroelectric power plants was organized within the Branches. This kind of organizational solution of common and general tasks is mostly present in all electrical distribution subsidiaries and also enabled the basic processes of supply, distribution and production to function smoothly. According to the adopted Rulebook on the organization of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. - Sarajevo, the Electricity Supply activity at the local level has been left without Sectors and Services that have been working to support the basic process until now, and therefore it is mandatory to procedurally define the organizational units in the Company that will take over support functions for the Supply Areas from the existing organization. The paper will briefly present the formation of the Sector for Public Supply in EPBiH and the current state of the support functions and a proposal for how it should look for a smooth work process.
