Dark Matter as the Source of Dark Energy: Energy Balance, Evolution, and Testable Consequences within the Ivashura Theory

View through CrossRef
Modern cosmology is based on the empirical existence of dark matter and dark energy, yet their physical nature and mutual relationship remain unresolved. In a series of previous works, the Ivashura theory was developed as a phenomenological model in which space is treated as a real energetic medium-dark energy-actively participating in physical processes from atomic to cosmological scales. Within this framework, gravity, orbital stability, and large-scale cosmic dynamics arise from gradients and flows of this energetic medium. In the present work, the energetic status of dark energy itself is examined. Starting from the fundamental principle that any persistent motion requires an energy source, it is argued that dark energy cannot be energetically self-sustaining if it performs work and evolves over time. Based on this reasoning, I predict a direct physical connection between dark matter and dark energy, in which dark matter serves as a finite energy reservoir that sustains the dark energy medium. This interpretation removes the implicit assumption of a stationary and "free" energetic background and leads to an evolutionary picture of the Universe governed by energy conservation and causality. Observable consequences of this prediction are discussed, including the possible slow evolution of dark energy parameters and weak correlations with the distribution of dark matter. The proposed framework is therefore not purely interpretative but admits direct observational testing.
Title: Dark Matter as the Source of Dark Energy: Energy Balance, Evolution, and Testable Consequences within the Ivashura Theory
