Background- Agadatantra is included under Ashtangas that not only deals with diagnosis of poisons bites and stings but also deals with different types of toxicity such as concotent (Gara Visha) and Cumulitive toxicity (Dushi Visha ) .Dushi Visha is one among the widely discussed topics in Agadatantra. All the brihatayess and in Malayalam text books deals this topic detailly. Many Agada Yogas are described by acharyas for managing Dooshi visha . Introduction- Pippalimuladi agada is one of the Agada Yoga detailed in the book Kriyakoumudi in relation to dushi visha. Kriyakoumudi is one of the classic literature accessible for Agadatantra. This book focuses exclusively on different types of poisons and their traditional treatments. We discovered various Agada Yogas in this book that Brihatrayees did not address. Objective 1.To study the pharmacological and therapeutic action of pippalimuladi agada. 2. To study the pharmacological and therapeutic action of each ingredient of pippalimuladi agada. Materials and methods- The whole study is based on literary review collected from AyurvedSamhitas and Kriyakoumudi. Conclusion-The components in pippalimuladi agada have anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and diuretic properties. This review article will discuss the pharmacological and therapeutic effects of pippalimuladi agada, as well as the effects of each ingredient.
