Установлена фенотипическая дифференциация вишни кустарниковой (Cerasus fruticosa Pall.) на Южном Урале на две биологические популяции: южноуральскую южную и южноуральскую восточную. Для южной популяции по сравнению с восточной характерны более крупные листья, менее длинные и более сплюснутые по длине плоды, менее крупные косточки. По уровню фенотипической изменчивости (индивидуальной и экологической) идентифицированные популяции не различаются.
