FIGURIN, man, on foot plate. Composed of different colored glass mass, shaped at glass blower lamp and joined around a narrow frame of twisted steel wire. Standing; in the hands one in the ground with the tip depressed shovel on whose leaves the left foot rests. High bait straight, Face and hands of opaque pulp called milk glass. Foot plate conically elevated and formed by a spiral rolled yellow-gray glass wire, laid on loops of fine copper wire. From the middle or later half of the 17th century. Purchased by Wilhelmina von Hallwyl on 7 November 1910 at Bukowski’s Art Trade for 50 Kr.
