Evaluation of glassy frits as micronutrient fertilizers. 1. Copper and molybdenum frits.

View through CrossRef
In pot and field experiments, two Cu frits gave some control of Cu deficiency in oats and wheat, but were less effective than CuSO4. One of the frits, containing 8%Cu, was less effective than the other, containing 3.2% Cu. Mo frits were good sources of Mo. The immediate effect of Mo frits was less and the residual effect greater than that of Na molybdate. Solubility in 0.1 n H2SO4 was not satisfactory for evaluating Mo frits.
