AbstractIn accordance with the orthodox Christian practice of labeling erroneous theologies by the name of their founder, “Sabellianism” was a heresy associated with Sabellius (ca. 220CE), a teacher in third‐century Rome who left no extant writings and whose views were summarized only by his opponents.
