One of the most original Italian musical ensembles of recent years is the Luca Charla Quartet, with appearances in more than 50 countries around the world. With Antonino De Luca on accordion, Maurizio Perrone on double bass, Francesco Savoretti on percussion, violinist Luca Charla drew from the familiar sounds of Italian traditional music and the Mediterranean region. The album Il Vento dei Saraceni presents some of their most popular pieces, such as Bach Tarantolato or Train Song.
