SURNAMES OF THE TUAL SOCIETY OF NORTH OSSETIA IN THE DOCUMENTS AND MATERIALS OF 19THCENTURY.

В статье рассматривается происхождение фамилий Туальского общества Северной Осетии. Согласно народным преданиям, множество фамилий этого общества возводили свое происхождение к легендарному Хетагу, некоторые же фамилии связывали свои корни с именем правителя Осетии Ос–Багатара. Целью работы является определение с помощью архивных документов XIX в. происхождения фамилий Туальского общества, потомков Хетага, Ос-Багатара и др., воссоздание их генеалогического древа, получение информации о представителях рассматриваемых фамилий, а также выявление их социально-политического статуса как в своем обществе, так и в Осетии в целом. Объектом исследования являются осетинские фамилии Нарского, Мамисонского, Закинского, Зругского и Зарамагского обществ, составлявших единое Туальское общество. Для выполнения поставленных задач в научный оборот вводятся неопубликованные архивные источники. Это документы «Комитета, учрежденного при Военно-Осетинском округе для разбора поземельных и личных прав туземцев этого округа», посемейные списки, составленные самими представителями фамилий в 1859-1860 гг. и 1871-1872 гг., родословные древа, разного рода прошения на имя чиновников Военно-Осетинского округа и Терской области, и т.п. На основе архивных и опубликованных источников рассмотрены варианты происхождения фамилий Туальского общества, а также выявлен ряд фамилий, претендовавших на дворянские привилегии и доказывавших свои права на основе народных преданий, грамот грузинских царей и документов российской администрации на Кавказе. Материалы исследования позволяют более глубоко и основательно исследовать генеалогию осетинских фамилий и могут служить дополнительным источником для изучения истории Северной Осетии. The article discusses the origin of the surnames of the Tual society of North Ossetia. According to folk legends, many surnames of this society traced their origin to the legendary Khetag, while some surnames connected their roots with the name of the ruler of Ossetia Os-Bagatar. The purpose of the work is to determine with the help of archival documents of the 19th century the origin of the surnames of the Tual society, the descendants of Khetag, Os-Bagatar, etc., the reconstruction of their genealogical tree, obtaining information about the representatives of the surnames in question, as well as identifying their socio-political status both in their society and in Ossetia as a whole. The object of the study is the Ossetian surnames of the Nar, Mamison, Zakin, Zrug and Zaramag communities, which constituted a single Tual society. To fulfill the tasks set, unpublished archival sources are introduced into scientific circulation. These are the documents of the “Committee established under the Military Ossetian District to analyze the land and personal rights of the natives of this district”, family lists compiled by the representatives of the families themselves in 1859-1860 and 1871-1872, genealogical trees, various kinds of petitions addressed to officials of the Military Ossetian District and the Terek Region, etc. Based on archival and published sources, variants of the origin of the surnames of the Tual society are considered, and a number of surnames that claimed noble privileges and proved their rights on the basis of folk legends, letters of Georgian kings and documents of the Russian administration in the Caucasus were identified. The research materials allow more thorough and profoundly to study the genealogy of Ossetian surnames and can serve as an additional source for studying the history of North Ossetia.
