Skull drum, (Sanskrit: damaru). A drum made of two cranes attached to each other, and coated with hard tensioned skin over the two openings. The cranies association point is covered by a band of bagwear-like material. The barrel had no handle and no drum plugs at the time the item was entered in the catalogue.
