Mural painting of the Crucifixion in the west gable. Above the Crucifixion are the Ancient of Days and the Holy Spirit, Christ is flanked by two groups: the grieving Virgin Mary, being comforted by Mary Magdalene and Mary the wife of Cleopas, on the left and John with the centurion Longinus on the right. There are the cosmic symbols of the sun and the moon in medallions. The figures of four angels, hover around the crucified Christ. In the background rise the walls of Jerusalem. There are also prophets Micah and Moses, their rolls inscribed with prophecies. Below the prophets are the Way of the Cross and the Deposition.
