Хара балдырлары – эоцен дәуірінен бері Қазақстанның су айдындарын алып жатқан өте сезімтал организмдер тобы. Бұл балдырлар тобы республикамыздың көптеген аймақтырында таралғанымен, Жамбыл облысы аймағында толық зерттелмегені белгілі. 2020-2023 жылдары жүргізілген зерттеулер бойынша Жамбыл облысынан 7 хара балдырларының мекендеу ортасы анықталды, оның ішінде 3 мекендеу ортасына алғаш рет хара балдырлары бойынша зерттеулер жүргізіліп, хара балдырларының түрлік құрамы анықталды. Анықталған балдырлар түрлерінің биологиялық сипаттамасы жасалып, заманауи систематикалық жүйеге келтірілді. Зерттелуші өзен мен тоғандардан анықталған балдырлардың көпшілігі әртүрлі су айдындарында кеңінен таралған түрлер болып саналады. Зерттелуші өзеннен және оның тоғандарынан хара балдырларының 1-бөлімге, 1- класқа, 1-қатарға, 1- тұқымдасқа және 1 туысқа жататын 4 түрі анықталды. Олардың кейбіреулері ну өсімдік қабатын құрап өседі.
