Esquema ahorro, inversión y financiamiento: Ecuador 2015 -2019

El análisis del esquema ahorro, inversión y financiamiento en el período 2015-2019, tiene como objetivo establecer las condicionantes de la evolución económica del Ecuador; también, permite obtener, en general, una apreciación del escenario en el cual se desenvolvieron las políticas públicas. Realizando el estudio comparativo de las liquidaciones presupuestarias del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas para los años 2015, 2016, 2017 y 2018, se complementó la evaluación con el examen de las cifras presupuestarias del año 2019 y con información para algunos de los rubros más importantes. Los resultados permiten establecer relaciones causa-efecto entre las diferentes variables analizadas que han fortalecido y/o debilitado, en su momento, a la economía del país. Summary analysis of the savings, investment and financing scheme in the period 2015-2019 aims to establish the determining factors of the economic evolution of Ecuador; it also allows obtaining, in general, an appreciation of the scenario in which public policies were developed. Carrying out the comparative study of the budget settlements of the Ministry of Economy and Finance for the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the evaluation was complemented with the examination of the budget figures for the year 2019 and with information for some of the most important items. The results allow establishing cause-effect relationships between the different variables analyzed that have strengthened and / or weakened, in due course, the country’s economy.Key words: savings, investment, financing, debt, wages, prices.
