Although I understand that Pediatrics usually limits memorial notices to founders and past presidents of the Academy, may I use your "Letter" section for a brief note about Doctor Katharine Dodd? Doctor Dodd was my teacher and good friend. I am sure this could be said by many of the hundreds of doctors practicing in this world who were influenced by her. Katie Dodd died of carcinoma on November 7, 1965. It is my feeling that this information should be noted on the pages of Pediatrics.
