Host Plant Index of Philippine Psylloids (Hemiptera:Psylloidea)

View through CrossRef
A total of 131 plant species, 64 genera under 32 families belonging to 16 orders are listed. Included also are 35 species of host plants recorded only in other countries. However, host plants for 21 of the 107 species comprising the local psylloid fauna are still unknown. Host plants of four species are recorded for the first time, 17 are new host records including one host plant first recorded locally and 18 host plants found to be erroneous records. Host plants of three new species records and four apparently new species of psylloids are also included in the list. Taxonomic treatment of these seven species will be done later. Host plants of psylloids belonging to family Homotomidae restricted before to the genus Ficus, now include Artocarpus thus extending its host plant association with the plant family Moraceae.
