Suporte Nutricional Enteral ao Paciente Queimado: O Estado da Arte

Objetivo: Analisar o estado da arte sobre suporte nutricional enteral ao paciente queimado criticamente enfermo. MǸtodo: Revisǜo integrativa de literatura realizada com buscas nas bases de dados PubMed, CINAHL e LILACS. Resultados: A busca possibilitou a sele��ǜo de 28 artigos cient��ficos com disponibilidade online e no idioma inglǦs, os quais foram organizados e discutidos em seis categorias: Hipermetabolismo e nutri��ǜo enteral; Nutri��ǜo enteral precoce nas v��timas de queimaduras; Estimativa de necessidade enǸrgica; Suplementa��ǜo na nutri��ǜo enteral; Jejum e nutri��ǜo intraoperat��ria; Intolerǽncia �� alimenta��ǜo e sepse. Conclusǜo: O estudo proporcionou a exposi��ǜo de diversas informa����es a respeito dos benef��cios associados �� introdu��ǜo de nutri��ǜo enteral ao paciente queimado, investiga����es sobre o aporte cal��rico mais adequado, pesquisas sobre a nutri��ǜo suplementada e incentivo de prǭticas que ainda nǜo participam totalmente do cotidiano hospitalar, como a nutri��ǜo intraoperat��ria. Entretanto, foi percept��vel a carǦncia de pesquisas nacionais voltadas ao indiv��duo com queimaduras.
