Long apron of muslin embroidered with cotton, England, 1725-1750. Long apron of white muslin embroidered with white cotton in darning, running, double-running and stem stitches with eyelet holes and large areas of pulled fabric work in a variety of geometric patterns. Six large sprays of pomegranates and flowers are scattered over the ground. The two at the top and the two at the bottom are growing from small mounds. The remaining ground is covered with small flowers and leaves. The scalloped border, which runs round the sides and hem, is patterned with a linear design of leaves and flowers.  Embroidered muslin with cotton.
