Abstract
Gage and Lady Mary Herbert used the former Dublin apothecary, Christopher Balfe, to prosecute their affairs in France against Cantillon. He accused Cantillon of conspiracy to murder him and Cantillon retaliated by showing that Balfe was a bigamist.
