Title: Atlantis Shape/color: Shake-shaped sculpture in blue with details in red and orange. A glass ball is located in the snail. Technique/method: Pezzati technique/patchwork, blown, driven. Other: Thoughts around the object: “Atlantis = the sinking city and on the bottom lies my shells and shines blue with red, yellow and oranga fish and starfish.” "Fauve technology (According to Catti Åselius Lidbeck) Fauvism - painting with strong and “wild” colours - was a art direction initiated by Matisse and some of his contemporary colleagues in France in the early 1900s. I have combined this art direction with “pezzati technique” (or “patchwork” as it is sometimes also referred to) which Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996) developed for Venini Glasbruk at Murano in Venice in the early 1950s. I have now developed that technique further which makes it possible, that in addition to square and geometric patterns, it is also possible to create unlimited figures - e.g. tigers, birds, fish etc - that are completely melted into the glass post - nothing is painted - everything is glass." Published: Aparto Vetro in Venidig 1998. Exhibited at the Dodgepalat together with international glass artists. Published: Catalogue to Aparto - Vetro Inscribed in the general ledger 2009-01-22
