Herman Heilburth Copenhagen; Dansk Landmansbank Copenhagen. Gorm Rasmussen Sølyst sold; to [Jacques Seligmann and Co. New York March 11 1936 (Lugt 3863)] sold; to Grenville L. Winthrop New York 1936 bequest; to Fogg Art Museum 1943 *As this group portrait was commissioned by Mme Bonaparte in Rome while her husband was with his brother Napoleon during the Hundred Days that is between March 20 and June 28 1815 his name does not appear here as original owner as in earlier references.
