A Study on Tea Culture and Naju tteok-cha(herbal tea) in Naju

This study aims to secure the traditionality of Naju tteok-tea(herbal tea), which combines a new form of functional tea with medicinal properties, through a literary review of Naju's tea culture and sensory evaluation of domestically collected tteok-tea, and to provide a foundation for commercialization. Tteok-tea produced in the Naju Bulhoesa region is a tradition that has been passed down from Dasan to the present day. The researcher examined the production methods of tteok-tea from major tea-producing regions in Korea and conducted a preference survey among tea specialist and tea expert.. It was recognized for its marketability in the tea market. In order to promote industrialization as an objective basis for the preservation of Naju's tea culture and tteok-tea, which must be passed down and preserved as part of the historical agricultural heritage, there is a demand for ways to utilize it for the benefit of tea farmers and local residents.
