O presente texto, de que se dá aqui a tradução portuguesa, consiste numa lição de antropologia versando génio [Genie], intitulada “Vom Genie”. A lição foi proferida por Kant durante o ano lectivo de 1781/82 [Menschenkunde], e colocada entre o grupo de liçõestranscritas no volume 25.2 da Akademie Ausgabe, respeitante às Lições de Antropologia do filósofo, mais especificamente, em AA, 25.2: 1055-1066.
