H. Llandal: Ruth.

A divided postcard containing a black-and-white reproduction of a painting by the French artist Charles Landelle (1821-1908) depicting the character of Ruth the Moabite. The postcard was printed with the artist's name and the name of the work in Hebrew and French, as well as a number. According to this number, it was produced within the first 100 postcards of "Lebanon", Moscow, probably at the end of the first decade of the twentieth century. On the back of the postcard is printed the trademark of the expenditure. This postcard was not used and was removed from a collection of "Lebanon" postcards donated to the National Library in 1939 by the publisher's editor-in-chief, Mr. Benjamin Mintz, Warsaw.
