Watercolor in original framing over the courtyard Ingetorp, probably accessed in 1827 (obscure signature). Below the picture textured: Ingetorp. A mansion building in two full floors with a broken roof and with economy buildings behind. A road lined by small grown trees leads to the settlement. A man’s figure in breeches and hat with a walking rod is seen between the trees. To the right of the road is a smaller building, partly surrounded by a stone courtyard. In front of the settlement a fruit farm/cabbage farm surrounded by a stone yard. Behind the manor building is seen a high-residue economy building with contiguous flyers. On a hill behind the settlement, another smaller house is seen. All buildings seem to have brick roofs. The motif shows how the yard looked after being put in a position by the then owner the farmer’s chair, the national man mm. Lars Torbjörnsson (1719 1786) and his wife Anna Jönsdotter (1729 1785) after a fire in 1775. On the island map of 1778 (see below) one can clearly see the buildings depicted here rendered. A copy of an article signed Algot Larsson, unknown where it was published, reproduces an advertisement from the Swedish newspapers, Stockholm, Tuesday 28 maij, Year 1793, in which the entire property is offered for sale and is therefore described in very precise terms.
