Yuri Vladimirovich Linnik (1944-2018) is an outstanding Russian poet, cosmist philosopher and cultural scientist, Doctor of Philosophy, author of more than 60 books of poetry, who wrote more than 600 wreaths of sonnets, as well as 160 issues of Yuri Linnik’s Almanac. The presented analysis of the sonnet “The Vision of Kirill Belozersky" by Yuri Linnik examines the main images, artistic and expressive means and philosophical ideas reflected in the work. The author focuses on the image of St. Kirill Belozersky, the great Russian saint, founder of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery. The analysis of this sonnet connects the poetic vision of Yuri Linnik with events from the life of the ancient Russian Venerable Kirill Belozersky, emphasizing the spiritual path of the saint and the significance of the monastery he created.
