The interannual variability of the age composition, body size and growth rate of the Anadyr chum salmon Oncorhynchus keta was studied in 2011–2023. Body length and body weight of chum salmon of all age groups in 2016–2023 decreased significantly compared to the foregoing time period, especially in fish aged 0.4. According to calculated data for the period of 2012–2022 the growth rate of chum salmon decreased in the 1st – 2nd years of life, while in the 3rd – 4th years, multidirectional trends were observed, and the smallest increases in body length were noted in 2016 and 2020. The decrease in the production characteristics of the Anadyr chum salmon in the up-to-date period occurred simultaneously with a decrease in the number of this species throughout the whole marine range of the Northern Pacific and had no correlation with the other salmon number. Anomalously high surface temperatures in the northeastern part of the Pacific Ocean observed over the past 7–8 years negatively affected the Anadyr chum salmon growth. Significant decreases in fish length and weight were observed in generations whose feeding period coincided with the recent extreme marine heat wave of 2019–2021 in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean.
