Erik Berggren the Younger, born in Bergeby, Offerdal parish 1818-11-30 and died 1897-10-04. He first studied in the Trivial school at Frösön, then in the upper secondary school in Härnösand, promoted in 1845, obtained the title “Han opihae et artium liberalium magister.” His first employment as a teacher became at Piteå textbooks, but already in 1848 he was appointed headmaster in Sundsvall. He subsequently became the President of the City Council, the Governor and the Chairman of the County Council. He was one of the dioceses of Sundsvall’s Individual Bank.
