KWANG BUM JANG

Galerie Sept is proud to represent Kwang Bum Jang, whose work has become one of the cornerstones of the gallery’s program. Born in Seoul in 1972, Jang develops paintings that exist somewhere between landscape and memory, matter and silence. Through an almost ritual process of layering and sanding acrylic paint, he builds dense, meditative surfaces that seem to breathe under light. Each work unfolds like a geological formation — shaped by rhythm, gesture, and time.
