AbstractT′he chiral acyl cyanides (I) and (VII) form chelates of type (IV) on treatment with TiCl4 at low temp., which react with the silane (II) or silyl enol ethers (V) to give the products (III), (VI) and (VIII) in a highly stereoselective fashion.
