View through CrossRef
Abstract. A dual-earner family is a family concept in which both the husband and wife work with the aim of maintaining the family's economic situation, which often poses its own challenges that can affect marital satisfaction if not handled properly. This study aims to analyze the relationship between dyadic coping as a form of effort to address marital issues and marital satisfaction in dual-earner families in Bandung City. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consists of 200 respondents selected using convenience sampling. The research instruments consist of the Dyadic Coping Inventory (DCI) developed by Bodenmann (1997) and adapted by Sari (2023), and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction (EMS) developed by Fowers & Olson (1993) and adapted by Mukhtiqal & Khairani (2023). Based on the research results, it was found that dyadic coping and marital satisfaction have a Sig. (2-tailed) value < .001, indicating a significant positive relationship between the variables. This suggests that the dyadic coping variable is related to the marital satisfaction variable. This study provides important insights into the relationship between dyadic coping and marital satisfaction to help maintain marriages in dual-earner families in Bandung City. Abstrak.
