Thank you for publishing my article on Mump and Smoot ... and Wog in your Spring 1991 issue. I was grateful that I could share with your readers a new approach to theatrical criticism in conjunction with the admirable work of this trio. My concern, however, is with a typographical error which changed the word “worn” (my original text] to the word “wrong” (published text, p. 351. Instead of strictly describing Smoot’s shorts, this slip conveyed an inappropriate value judgement regarding John Turner’s costume choice which was not intended.
