Plagiarism detection has become a crucial concern as a result of advancements in information and communication technology tools (ICT Tools), as well as the availability of online scientific materials. Plagiarism detection has become a crucial issue with the availability of several software text editors. Plagiarism detection and the various types of plagiarism detection datasets used in identification systems has already been the subject of numerous research investigations. This paper discusses various types of plagiarism and various source code plagiarism detection tools developed. Despite the fact that there has been extensive study into systems for detecting source code plagiarism for many years, there is still a need to investigate a robust method.
