Rubus rynnestiganus (Serie Glandulosi) wird als eine neue Art beschrieben. Das Verbreitungsgebiet dieser Regionalsippe ist auf den Thüringer Wald und das westliche Vorland beschränkt. Von R. stereacanthos wird eine neue Zwergform aus dem Raum südlich von Eisenach beschrieben. Die Arten werden durch Abbildungen illustriert, ihre Verbreitung wird durch Rasterkarten und detaillierte Fundort-Angaben dargestellt.
