DOSTUPNOST ARHIVSKE GRAĐE DRŽAVNOG ARHIVA REPUBLIKE SEVERNE MAKEDONIJE OD ZNAČAJA ZA ISTORIJU SRPSKOG NARODA I SRBIJE

Taking into account the common history of Serbia and the territory of present-day Macedonia, starting from the end of the 13th century, when Macedonia became part of the Kingdom of Serbia, and Skopje became the capital of Dušan’s Empire in 1346, through Vardar Macedonia (1913–1915) to the People’s Republic of Macedonia, later the Socialist Republic of Macedonia, which was a federal unit of the SFRY, in the period from 1945–1991, part of the archival materials of great importance for the history of the Serbian people and Serbia is still located in the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia. The paper will discuss the availability of basic information on archival materials of importance for the history of the Serbian people and Serbia, the possibilities and procedures for research and its publication, in accordance with the Law on Archival Materials of the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia, on the basis of reciprocity and in correlation with the general acts of the aforementioned Archives.
