Struktur Wacana pada Tajuk Catatan Anies Pasca Pilpres dalam Chanel Youtube Anies Baswedan

This research is based on the assumption that language use has an important role in building political communication strategies. The structure of a political discourse not only acts as a chronological arrangement of information, but also implies a certain logic or argument. This study aims to describe the structure of political discourse that reflects Anies Baswedan's political views, using Teun A. van Dijk's critical discourse analysis framework. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, the data of this research comes from a Youtube video with the title “Anies's Notes After the Presidential Election and Pilkada 2024” uploaded on August 30, 2024. The results showed that Anies Baswedan used the main theme in the form of reflection on the political situation after the presidential election and the 2024 elections, as well as affirmation of the continuation of the struggle for justice and equality in Indonesia. In terms of superstructure, the discourse is organized systematically starting from the opening, content and closing. In the micro structure, the sentences are arranged in a narrative, descriptive, declarative, and imperative manner. The narrative is oriented towards cultural symbols and morality. This study concludes that Anies succeeded in conveying relevant, emotional, and compelling messages, and showed how language can be used strategically to achieve the purpose of the discourse.
