SUTTON LINK: Sutton Libraries' new approach to community information using online public access terminals

SUTTON LINK is an integral part of the community information service provided by public libraries in the London Borough of Sutton. It is a database of community, local and leisure information available on public access terminals in the libraries themselves, as well as in an ever‐increasing number of local advice agencies. This paper describes the evolution, design and features of the service, what it contains and facilities for searching the database, which is run using Geac's Community Information System Module.
