Mondon le Fils is the same person as François-Thomas Mondon, son of the goldsmith Pasquier Mondon († 1753) and brother of the Pasquier-Remy Mondon (ca. 1712-after 1784). By mistake, identified with a non-existent Jean Mondon. François-Thomas Mondon gets the royal privilege for 12 years on 6 March 1736 (Fuhring 1986, No. 48). On 24 March, cooperation between Mondon and Antoine Aveline for the expenses of the engravings. First condition of three, before the date change (1736 becomes 1760) and the relocation address of Chereau (II/III), before the new publisher address of Charpentier au Coq (III/III).
