Rita Von Hunty: visibilidade Drag nas revistas Claudia e TRIP Para Mulher (TPM)

This paper aims to conduct an exploratory study on drag queen Rita Van Hunty, seeking to understand how she is viewed in the media. In this way, we are inspired by the analysis of Foucault's discourse in the contents of reports published about her on the internet in two women's magazines of different profiles: Claudia and TRIP for Women (TPM ). The theoretical framework was based on gender studies from Butler (2003) and Louro (2018). The ways in which Rita is viewed in the media are varied. While Claudia magazine presents a more in good standing version of drag, Trip for Women (TPM) explores themes dear to the LGBTQIA + community, without, however, going beyond the question of identity.
