The Role Telegram Application for Information Sharing in the Case of Online Ge’ez Language Learning

Abstract
Telegram is one of the application, which used for learning language in the online. The current study was aimed investigate how online learning resources facilitate information sharing for Ge’ez language learning. The study was followed the quantitative research strategy conducted a telegram channels created between 2017 and 2021. The data were collected via a searching of telegram channels in the online, particularly, created in Ge’ez language learning user names. The subscribers and the channels number were presented using frequency and percentage. The correlations between subscribers with other factors were analyzed using SPSS. The introducing of Ge’ez language learning in the telegram application was started in Dec 2017. Thirty-one telegram channels with 85970 subscribers’ channels have been providing Ge’ez language in the online. In the telegram channel Basic to advanced Ge’ez language Learning were available. In 2020, maximum telegram channels were created with its correspondent followers. The trends line of telegram channel between 2017 and 2020 were increasing trends and deceasing in 2021. The number of subscribers and shared link positively and highly correlated each other. Telegram application plays a vital role in Ge’ez language learning via sharing a vast amount of material that facilitate Ge’ez language learning in the online.
