MODERN APPROACHES IN THE ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF BUSINESS PROJECTS

The article presents the modern understanding of business project analysis as a systematic method of researching each individual stage of the project before its implementation. To analyze the feasibility of large projects, it is proposed to use the Pentagon model, which is based on a system-oriented approach to determine the perspectives of various participants. The value of using the model of expansion by highlighting the formal and informal roles of each of the project participants, which will further contribute to their participation in the formation of the team and interesting pages depending on the identified needs. It was determined that the key tool in the evaluation of business projects is the cost-benefit analysis (CBA), which makes it possible to ensure effective project management from the position of focusing on creating the greatest value for the organization and stakeholders. The use of cost-benefit analysis significantly affects the effectiveness of the project based on the specified conditions of use. Considering the direct and indirect costs, benefits and risks present in the project and their impact on the final results determines the need to initiate the specified tool; prioritize projects and reduce the likelihood of investing in projects with negative returns. It is noted that in the process of analyzing business projects, modern tools of business processes are widely used, namely: software for automation, modeling, monitoring and optimization of various stages of business processes (ERP systems, business intelligence, ВІ- CRM platforms, BPM systems, data analysis tools, online services for communication with customers, etc.). The use of the mentioned tools allows enterprises to effectively analyze data, forecast trends, make informed decisions, increase the efficiency of business processes, and reduce costs within the scope of implementing business projects. The principles and their fullness in the analysis of business processes of projects are determined, including: systematicity, objectivity, determinism or causal dependence, the principle of a scientific approach, efficiency, effectiveness. Considered advantages and disadvantages of methods and indicators for the analysis and evaluation of business processes of enterprise projects, such as ABC analysis, simulation modeling, analysis of process, product and customer satisfaction indicators, qualitative analysis of the business process, SWOT analysis, input and output analysis, function analysis, process analysis for compliance with standard and/or regulatory requirements, resource analysis, process problem analysis, process ranking.
