Elements of interculturality in the novel The anonymous actor by Aurelian Silvestru

This article deals with the concept of interculturality within the contemporary Bessarabian novel, highlighting various elements of interculturality that are reflected through literary characters in actions from different historical periods. Aurelian Silvestru's work is interesting through the aspects addressed: diversity and the acceptance of diversity; habits and traditions; religions and behaviors; beliefs and prejudices; ideologies and lifestyles etc. Interculturality is what defines us the most, covering our entire course of permanent becoming. Many factors contribute to ensuring a dignified life for all, and one of them is knowing, understanding and accepting the diverse world we live in, accepting others with their attitude, thinking and actions. The novel The Anonymous Actor, by the Bessarabian writer Aurelian Silvestru, aims in an original way at the intercultural aspect. Through the characters of the novel, the author urges us to discuss the ability to recognize one's own values and to live alongside any type of person, to accept and respect them.
