Work materials for the tissues “Dawn” and “Shymation.” The working material consists of two sketches, two yarn maps, a work description, a work drawing (see UM42888b) and a text describing the tissues.
The sketches are made with water color and chalk, one in red and yellow shades, the other in blue shades. The sketches are mounted in cardboard frames. The cardboard frames are signed “Ulla Tollerz” and in the lower right corners there are labels with Ulla Tollerz’s address and telephone number.
The yarn maps are marked “” Gryning “lev. Okt.-77 Uppsala kommun/Humanistn” and“”Skymning“lev. Okt.-77 Uppsala kommun/Humanistn.” At one end of the yarns there is a printed text with the name and address of Uppsala County’s Home Solution Association. The yarn samples consist of wool yarns and plastic cords in red and yellow shades and blue shades respectively. The yarns belong to a patch with the text “Yarn Maps to” Dawn and Skymning “Ulla Tollerz 1977. Uppsala Municipality Gift to the University 500 Years Anniversary. Humanist Centre.”
The job description is an indication of how “ULH MP” and “ULLA TOLLERZ 1977” should be embroidered on the tissues.
