Bedside jewellery

HÄNGSMYCKE (medallion). Of goldsmith comet of iron. Oval, with flat sides. On the front, a cast iron disc in the shape of a comet, relishing an antique chest image of a Greek god or hero (?) in profile. On the back a lid with a scharner and a nail attachment. On the inside of the lid a letter of the year and a stamp of firm, karate and city. Height: 2.7 cm, width: 1.3 cm. Swedish work, Stockholm from 1821, Giron & Co. Purchased by Wilhelmina von Hallwyl September 1911 at the Juvilerarfirman JE Torsk, Stockholm.
