Reflections around the topics of gender and feminism - thought from an Islamic theological perspective - are indispensable for a contemporary Islamic theology. How can gender-sensitive and feminist aspects be justified from within theology? What significance do they bear for the realization and actualization of Islamic theology and what challenges arise from this?
