Autorka artykułu przedstawia problem pokrewieństwa Klemensa Jastrzębca z Lubnic z rodziną arcybiskupa Wojciecha Jastrzębca i zgadza się z twierdzeniem, że Klemens był bratem ojca, a nie bratem Wojciecha Jastrzębca, jak odnotowano w historiografii. Jego kariera na dworze królewskim była bardzo pomocna dla wielu członków tej rodziny, a w szczególności dla Wojciecha, który został arcybiskupem Gniezna.
