Translation of the caption: "Construction office of the department at work."Excerpt from p. 17 of the NEF photo album. After the end of the war, the 6th WTB (scientific and technical office) was designated as a “communications technology development and fabrication,” in short NEF, by the Soviet administration in East Berlin in the rooms of the former “telecommunications cable and apparatus factory Oberspree” (FAO) belonging to AEG. This company was under the authority of the Soviet Ministry of Communications. The album was probably for the Soviet superior in the NEF. Photograph, June 1946. The digitalisat was made by the original album.
