Hedge (class of 1851) and Miss Charlotte A. Hedge. Joint Gift to Harvard Library 1916. Corporation Records June 21 1916: Voted that the President and Fellows desire to express their gratitude to Mr. Frederick H. Hedge and to Miss Charlotte A. Hedge for their gift of a silver teapot belonging to their great grandfather Dr. William Kneeland a Tutor in the College from 1754 to 1763. Frederick was class of 1851. Charlotte and Frederick were descendants of Tutor William Kneeland class of 1751. Harvard Art Museums/Fogg Museum Loan from Harvard University; Gift to Harvard College in 1916 from Miss Charlotte A. Hedge and Frederick H. Hedge Class of 1851 descendants of Tutor William Kneeland Class of 1751 to whom the teapot once belonged
