Attosecond Pulse Generation Using High Harmonics of the KrF Laser Driver Pulse

View through CrossRef
High-harmonic generation from He atoms illuminated by high-intensity femtosecond KrF laser pulses is studied. It is shown that single attosecond pulses as well as trains of several attosecond pulses, one per half-a-period, can be generated in the several-cycle regime of the intense driver pulse.
